Chess Gaja academy hosted two internal academy tournaments for its students on Aug 14, 2021, and we now have the results from the event!

The morning tournament started at 11 AM IST, and the evening tournament was from 11 PM IST. The events were held in arena format for 1 hour, and the time control was 5 minutes + 2 seconds increment.

The first academy event was held in the new Lichess team – Chess Gaja Academy, an exclusive group for the academy students. We will be having all our academy activities in the future.

Our founder GrandMaster Priyadharshan participated in both the events to give high-level game practice to the academy students. In the process, he won all his games in both tournaments and finished 1st in the rankings on both events.

In the 11 AM event, Priyadharshan scored 4/4 to win the tournament, and he was followed by Anubhav, who finished 2nd, and Prahalad took 3rd place.
