US Chess Federation Top Rankings – Chess Gaja Student Stats! April 2022

Last month, we wrote about how our US students were ranked in the US Chess Top lists for their respective age categories, and we wanted to continue reporting on those stats for April 2022!

  • In the U-7 or below Age Category, we have Saatvik – Ranked 79th.
  • In the U-9 age category, We have 3 students in the top 30 in this category, with Vijay (#9), Vihaan (#19), and Siddharth (#28) on the list!
  • In the U-10 age category, we have 3 students in the top 100. The leading academy student is Priyansh, at #24 on the list.
  • In the U-11 age category, Chess Gaja has 2 students in the top 100.
  • In the U-12 age category, we have 1 student in the top 100 list.
  • In the U-13 age category, we have 1 student (Vaseegaran) in the top 30 list.
  • In the U-14 age category, we have 1 student (Adithya) in the top 60 list.
  • In the U-18 age category, we have 1 student (Aaryan) in the top 40 list.
  • In the U-11 girl’s age category, we have 2 students in the top 25 list.
  • In the U-15 girl’s age category, we have 1 student in the top 60 list.

That’s a whopping total of 16 students from Chess Gaja in the top 100 age category lists!

In March 2022 ranking list, we had only 12 students, and in April, our students showed some great performances and have made the student tally jump to 16 now!
