Shriyan Finishes 3rd in World Open Amateur with his Remarkable Performance

Continental Chess Association conducted World Open Amateur from 27 June to 29 June 2022 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US.

Chess Gaja student Shriyan participated in this tournament under the U1800 category.

Shriyan finished 3rd in the tournament with a score of 4 out of 6. He won two games against high-rated players Richard(1608) and Richard(1468). He managed to draw three games against high-rated players Broxie(1764), Chris(1618) and Tyshaune(1577).

His rating point increased from 1543 to 1606 which is 60 point increment in a single game.
