Check out the results of Pacific Southwest Open

San Diego Chess Club conducted the Pacific Southwest Open tournament from July 4 – July 6, 2022, in Irvine, California.

Chess Gaja students Ruhan and Priyansh participated in this tournament under the U2200 category.

Ruhan scored 4 out of 8 points with 3 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws. Notably, he won a game against high-rated player David(1950) and lost against Leo(2192). His rating point increased from 1745 to 1776.

Priyansh won three games and lost four games and managed to draw one game with a score of 3.5 out of 8. He won the game against high-rated player Esther(1850).
