Great Performance by Adithya in The First Annual Beltway Open

The First Annual Beltway Open was conducted by Joshua Daniel Hiban from August 8 to August 10 in Idylwood, USA.

Chess Gaja student Adithya participated in this tournament under the premier section.

He finished 9th in the tournament with a score of 3.5 out of 5. He won the first and third games of the tournament and managed to draw the other games. Notably, he managed to win against high-rated player Kevin(2143) and draw against Eric(2165).

His rating point increased from 1982 to 2025.
