Priyansh Crosses 2100 Rating Mark with his Great Performance

Chess player Priyansh, a student at Chess Gaja academy, recently participated in the Gambito – 996 tournament conducted by San Diego Chess Club held in San Diego, California. Priyansh faced tough competition from players like Noah(2188) and Roger(2011) but ultimately secured a perfect score and the top place in the tournament. This impressive feat has pushed Priyansh’s rating above 2100, a significant milestone for any chess player.

Priyansh began learning chess from Chess Gaja in July 2021. He has been taking classes from GrandMaster Priyadharshan and other expert coaches from the academy. In addition, he has been part of various group classes, including the Top 10 Program.

We are extremely proud of Priyansh for increasing 781 rating points (from 1325 to 2106) within 1.5 years. It is an impressive accomplishment for any chess player, and we look forward to seeing his future successes.
