Great Performances by Chess Gaja Students in SDCC Scholastic California

The San Diego Chess Club hosted the SDCC Scholastic Winter Quads II on December 11, 2022, in San Diego, California.

Priyansh, a student at Chess Gaja, participated in the Elite section of the tournament and won with a score of 3 out of 3 points. This impressive performance earned Priyansh a 38-point increase in his rating, from 2097 to 2107.

Sai Krishna, another student from Chess Gaja, competed in the 4th section and placed second with a score of 2 out of 3 points. Sai Krishna’s notable wins against higher-rated players Dylan (807) and Ayaan (212) earned him a 38-point increase in his rating, from 802 to 840.
