Great Performances by Chess Gaja Students in Texas Swiss Tournament

64 squares hosted the SWISS- G60 DAY tournament on December 10, 2022, in Frisco, Texas.

Chess Gaja students Suraj and Saj Ajay participated in this tournament under the G60-Champs.

Suraj finished as the runner-up in the tournament, scoring 3 out of 4 points. He won against higher-rated players Sai (1545) and Namish (1343), which earned him a 113-point increase in his rating, from 1276 to 1389.

Saj Ajay placed fifth in the tournament with a score of 2.5 out of 4 points. His notable performance included a draw against higher-rated player Rishi (1374), which earned him a 2-point increase in his rating, from 1307 to 1309.

Both players remained undefeated throughout the tournament, showcasing their skill and resilience in the face of tough competition.
