The Poison Pawns Chess Club conducted a $3,000 HOUSTON CHESS STUDIO MARCH from March 11 – 12, 2023 in Houston, Texas.
Chess Gaja students Anish and Mihika participated in this tournament under the Challengers section.
Anish finished 2nd in this tournament with a score of 3.5 out of 5 points and Mihika scored 3 out of 5 points and tied for 3rd place. Notably, Mihika won one of her games against a higher-rated player Daren(1576). This performance increased Mihika’s rating from 1531 to 1539.
