PROGRESS WITH CHESS conducted the 2023 OHIO HIGH SCHOOL/MIDDLE SCHOOL Tournament on May 6, 2023, in Cleveland Ohio.
Chess Gaja student Varun participated in the High School Championship section and scored 4.5 out of 6 points. He lost one round against a higher-rated player with a rating of 2548, who went on to win the tournament.
Varun’s solid performance helped him finish tie for the 4th place and also gain 1 rating point, and his rating now is 2006.
