SAN DIEGO CHESS CLUB conducted the GAMBITO-1015 Tournament on May 20, 2023, in San Diego, California.
Chess Gaja student Vedant took part in the tournament. In the Elite section, he scored 2.5 out of 4 points.
One noteworthy achievement was when Vedant managed to secure a draw in one of his matches against a 2100-rated player Benjamin(2115).
This great performance increased Vedant gaining 24 rating points, and his rating jumped from 2000 to 2024.
