Aayush’s Success at the Oklahoma Chess Association Tournament

The Oklahoma Chess Association organized the JERRY SPANN MEMORIAL & OKLAHOMA OPE tournament on June 3rd and 4th, 2023, in Frisco, Texas.

Chess Gaja student Aayush participated in the tournament.

In the Reserve section, Aayush scored 2.5 out of 5 points. Despite losing to a higher-rated player with a rating of 1592 in one round, Aayush’s strong performance led to a gain of 22 rating points, raising his rating from 1213 to 1235.

Congratulations to Aayush for his impressive performance! We wish him the best of luck in his future chess tournaments.
