Check out the Results of the 2023 Austin Chess Club Summer Championship

Austin Chess Club conducted the 2023 Austin Chess Club Summer Championship from August 5-6, 2023 in Austin, Texas.

Several Chess Gaja students participated in this tournament.

In the open section, Neil scored 2.5 out of 5 points. Notably, he won one of his games against a higher-rated player Joseph(1900). This good performance increased his rating from 1803 to 1831.

In the reserve section, Sanmita scored 3 out of 5 points. Notably, Sanmita won one of her games against a higher-rated player Rylan(1620). This good performance increased Sanmita’s rating from 1468 to 1543.

In the Novoice section, Tharun scored 2 out of 5 points. In the same section, Eshaann scored 1.5 out of 5 points. Notably, Eshaann won one of his games against a higher-rated player Aaditya(1102). This good performance increased Eshaann’s rating from 750 to 774.
