On December 2-4, 2022, the Maryland Chess Association held its 3rd Annual Old Line Open in Rockville, Maryland. Chess Gaja student Adithya participated in the championship section of the tournament and scored 3 out of 5 points.
One of Adithya’s standout performances was his victory against a 2200-rated player, Oladapo. This win helped him to achieve a successful tournament and earn an increase in his rating from 2035 to 2046.
At the 3rd Annual Old Line Open, Adithya had the chance to demonstrate his skills and compete against other talented chess players. Adithya has been doing well and his rating has been steadily increasing over the past few months.
