Four of our Chess Gaja students participated in the Reserve section of the DFW FIDE Premier 2 at Irving, Texas, from 01 April 2022 to 03 April 2022.
Our student Neil Lad scored 3.5/5 points in the tournament. Neil had a tough competition with the opponents but came up with 3 wins in the tournament.
Anish Krishnan scored 3/5 in the tournament. His excellent play made him gain 15 rating points. Anish faced a higher-rated opponent in the 2nd round and played a great game to win!
Sahithi Kommuri won 2 rounds out of 5. She had a tough tournament in the last three rounds because she faced a higher rated player. We hope Sahithi comes stronger again in the next tournament!
Mihika Krishnan also scored 2/5 in the tournament. She played very well in the third and the fourth round.
