Blakeman Chess conducted 2nd Annual Texas Golden Open from 17 June to 19 June, 2022 at Coppell, Texas.
Chess Gaja students Neil, Arjun and Gurugrahan participated in this tournament.
Under U1200 category, Gurugrahan scored 5 out of 7 points with three wins, 1 loss and two draws. Notably he won against high- rated player Manu(1333). His rating point increased from 1151 to 1186.
Under U1900 category, Neil and Arjun participated.
Arjun scored four out of seven points with three wins, two losses and two draws.
Neil participated in this tournament and finished 5th with 5 out of 7 points with 4 wins, 1 loss and 2 draws. Notably He won against high – rated player Ojar(1709). His rating point increased from 1695 to 1706.
