The Atlantic Chess Association conducted the Austin monthly scholastic October event in Austin, Texas on October 15th,2023.
Our Chess Gaja students Eshaann, Ananyasree, and Rishaan participated in the tournament under various sections.
Eshaann played under the K-12 U1000 section and scored 3.5 points out of 5. His noteworthy performance includes a victory over Arnav (750), Albert (708), and Grace (771). This skillful play led to a remarkable increase in his rating from 833 to 867 USCF.
Ananyasree played under the K-5 Championship section to score 2 points. Her victories were against the players Aarohan (724), and Jake (866).
Rishaan participated under the K-3 U600 Section to score 1 point out of 5.
