The San Diego Chess Club conducted the SDCC October Scholastic tournament in San Diego, California on October 8th, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja student Smaran participated in the tournament under the open section.
He scored 3 points out of 5. He gained a noteworthy victory against high-rated player Arjun(1136). This good performance increased his rating from 1025 to 1085.
Congratulations to Smaran for his exceptional performance! We wish him the best of luck in future chess tournaments.
