Chess Gaja students showed excellence and showcased their talents in multiple events held in the United States this fortnight (May 9–15, 2024). We have segmented our student performances by state in this blog!
Texas Chess Tournament
Prathit finished 2nd in the Friday Knights Tournament conducted by the Houston Scholastic Chess Association on May 10, 2024. In the Open section, Prathit scored 2.5 out of 3 points and this strong performance increased his USCF rating from 1048 to 1175.
Yugan finished 1st in Sunday Swiss conducted by the Texas Chess Center on May 12, 2024. In the Open section, Yugan scored 4 out of 4 points and this strong performance increased his USCF rating from 1449 to 1471.
Louisiana Chess Tournament
The Bluebonnet Chess Club conducted Baton Rouge Junior Spring Tournament on May 11 , 2024. Aaruran scored 2 out of 4 points in the U-800 Section. This was a good performance by Aaruran and his USCF rating increased from 563 to 581.
California Chess Tournament
Ruhan finished 1st in GAMBITO -1054 conducted by the San Diego Chess Club, on May 11, 2024. In the Open section, Ruhan scored 3.5 out of 4 points and this strong performance increased his USCF rating from 1960 to 1987.
Oregon Chess Tournament
The Roshen’s Chess Academy conducted Roshen’s Chess Academy Tournament on May 11, 2024. Prahlada scored 3 out of 4 points in the Open Section. This was a good performance by Prahlada and his USCF rating increased from 955 to 964.
Oklahoma Chess Tournament
The City Chess OK conducted Red River Shootout XXII on May 11 , 2024. Aayush scored 2 out of 2 points in the RRSO – Section. This was a good performance by Aayush and his USCF rating increased from 1525 to 1549.
Pennsylvania Chess Tournament
The DMV Chess Club conducted The Northern Class Championships on May 10 , 2024. Priyansh scored 3.5 out of 5 points in the Premier Section. This was a good performance by Priyansh and his USCF rating increased from 2205 to 2209.
