Our Chess Gaja students have delivered impressive performances across various chess tournaments this month.

California
Smaran competed in the Gambito -1061 event held in San Diego, California. Organized by the San Diego Chess Club on July 27, 2024. Smaran saw a significant rating boost from 1321 to 1458 and achieved a commendable score of 3.0 out of 4 points.
Texas
Prathit played in the Knights of Cypress event in Cypress, Texas. conducted by the Houston Scholastic Chess Association on July 26, 2024. Prathit saw a rating increase from 1296 to 1349 and scored 2.0 out of 3 points.
Colorado
Viaan participated in the Kings of Chess tournament in Aurora, Colorado. Organized by We Play Chess on July 27, 2024. Viaan’s rating was reduced from 993 to 960, still he secured the highest rating by achieving a score of 2.5 out of 4 points. he secured 2nd in this tournament.
