Our Chess Gaja students have continued to make us proud of their remarkable performances in recent chess tournaments held across various states. Here’s a detailed report highlighting their achievements:

Texas

Arush competed in the 7th Queen City of the Prairie Open & Fort Worth Championship conducted by The Alliance Chess Club in Fort Worth, Texas from July 19 to July 21, 2024. Arush, with a rating increase from 1752 to 1775, scored 2.0 out of 5 points.

Yugan participated in the SFS July Sunday #3 conducted by 64Squares in Frisco, Texas on July 21, 2024. Yugan’s rating rose from 1476 to 1482, and he finished with a score of 3.0 out of 5.

Prathit took part in The Friday Knights event conducted by Houston Scholastic Chess Association in Klein, Texas on July 19, 2024. Prathit increased his rating from 1281 to 1297 and scored 2.0 out of 3 points.

California

Vian excelled at the North County Open 61 in Oceanside, CA from June 13 to July 18, 2024, where he improved his rating from 1537 to 1683 and scored 5.5 out of 8 points.

North Carolina

Vihaan participated in the 2024 Charlotte Summer Open conducted by Charlotte Chess Center in Charlotte, NC from July 19 to July 21, 2024. Vihaan’s rating increased from 2009 to 2014, with a score of 2.5 out of 5.

Georgia

Anhad shone brightly in the GCC Friday Knight Face-Off by Georgia Chess Club in Alpharetta, GA on July 19, 2024. Anhad, with a remarkable rating leap from 449 to 563, scored a perfect 3.0 out of 3 points, emerging as the tournament winner.
