Our Chess Gaja students have showcased their talent and determination in recent chess tournaments across the country.

Here’s a detailed roundup of their impressive achievements:

Massachusetts

Priyansh participated in the 54th Annual Continental Open from August 15 to August 18, 2024. Starting with a rating of 2198, Priyansh achieved a slight increase to 2199 and finished with a solid score of 4 out of 7. The event was organized by the Continental Chess Association. Congratulations to Priyansh for this commendable performance!

North Carolina

Vihaan competed in the CCC Reverse Angle 132 on August 17, 2024. With his rating improving from 2014 to 2016, Vihaan scored 2 out of 3 points in this tournament which was organized by the Charlotte Chess Center. Great job, Vihaan!

Texas

Austin, Texas

  • Arush took part in the 2024 ACC Summer Open from August 16 to August 18, 2024. The event was organized by the Austin Chess Club. Starting with a rating of 1763, Arush’s rating increased to 1808, and he ended the tournament with a strong score of 3.5 out of 5. Well done, Arush!

Spring, Texas

Oklahoma

Aayush played in the Hot Summer Swiss on August 18, 2024. His rating increased from 1616 to 1627 and Aayush scored 1.5 out of 5 points in this event, which was organized by the Oklahoma City Chess Club. Keep striving, Aayush!

Iowa

Gurugrahan competed in the 69th Iowa Open Championship from August 16 to August 18, 2024. The tournament was hosted by the Iowa State Chess Association. Gurugrahan’s rating improved from 1882 to 1891, and he finished with a score of 2.5 out of 5. Congratulations to Gurugrahan!

New York

Naysa took part in the ImpactCoachingNetwork.org UES Summer Training Camp conducted by Impact Coaching Network from August 12 to August 16, 2024. Naysa’s rating increased from 842 to 846, and she finished with a perfect score of 2 out of 2. Congratulations to Naysa for this outstanding result!
