Our Chess Gaja students have once again demonstrated their chess prowess across various national tournaments. Here’s a summary of their remarkable performances:

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Aayush competed in the QUADZILLA tournament on August 10, 2024, Held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and organized by the Oklahoma City Chess Club. Aayush’s USCF rating surged from 1571 to 1616. He achieved a perfect score of 3.0 out of 3, showcasing his exceptional skill and focus.

San Diego, California

Vian participated in the SAN DIEGO COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS from August 10 to August 11, 2024, Held in San Diego, California and organized by the San Diego Chess Club. Vian improved his rating from 1636 to 1703. He scored 3.0 out of 5 points, reflecting his competitive edge.

Smaran also took part in the SAN DIEGO COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS during the same dates in San Diego, California. With a rating increase from 1459 to 1476, Smaran finished with a score of 1.5 out of 5 points. Despite the challenges, his performance showed resilience.

Vihaan participated in the 2024 U.S. G/60 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP on August 11, 2024, Held in Milpitas, California and organized by the BAY AREA CHESS . Vihaan improved his rating from 1166 to 1135. He scored 2.5 out of 4 points.

He also participated in the 2024 U.S. G/30 CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP  on August 10, 2024, Held in Milpitas, California and organized by the BAY AREA CHESS . he improved his rating from 985 to 1166. He scored 3 out of 5 points, reflecting his consistent performance.

Portland, Oregon

Parth competed in the ROSHENS CHESS ACADEMY TOURNAMENT on August 10, 2024, in Portland, Oregon, organized by Roshen’s Chess Academy. Parth’s rating increased from 754 to 775. He earned a score of 2.0 out of 4, demonstrating his ongoing progress.

Spring, Texas

Prathit participated in THE FRIDAY KNIGHTS tournament on August 9, 2024, in Spring, Texas, organized by the Houston Scholastic Chess Association. Prathit’s rating slightly rose from 1349 to 1351. He scored 1.5 out of 3 points, reflecting his consistent performance.
