Last month, we wrote about how our US students were ranked in the US Chess Top lists for their respective age categories, and we wanted to continue reporting on those stats for December 2022!
In the U-7 and under the category, we have 2 students. One of them, Gurugrahan, is ranked 33rd.
In the U-8 category, we have 2 students. One of them, Vishnu, is ranked 19th.
In the U-10 category, we have 2 students who are both ranked in the top 15. Vijay is ranked 12th and Vihaan is ranked 15th.
In the U-11 Category – We have 4 students two among them are Sahithi whose rank is under Regular Top Age Girl 11 – 13 and Priyansh – 17.
In the U-12 category, we have 3 students. One of them, Mihika, is ranked 38th in the top age group for girls.
In the U-13 category, we have 2 students. One of them, Ronak, is ranked 28th.
In the U-14 category, we have 1 student named Vaseegaran who is ranked 20th.
In the U-15 category, we have 1 student.
In the U-16 category, we have 2 students, one of them, Hemachandra, is ranked 50.
That’s a whopping total of 19 students from Chess Gaja in the top 100 age category lists!
Chess Gaja students have achieved some of their highest numbers to date with this accomplishment.
