On December 2, 2022, the Texas Chess Center held a Sunday Swiss tournament in Carrollton, Texas. Two students from Chess Gaja, Lohit, and Saathvik participated in the event and tied for first place with a score of 2.5 points out of 3.
Both Lohit and Saathvik were able to win against their opponents, but they drew against each other in a closely contested match.
The Sunday Swiss tournament was a great opportunity for Lohit and Saathvik to showcase their skills and compete against other talented chess players. They both demonstrated their strategic thinking and impressive chess abilities during the event, earning them well-deserved recognition for their hard work and dedication to the game.
