Last month, we wrote about how our US students were ranked in the US Chess Top lists for their respective age categories, and we wanted to continue reporting on those stats for January 2023!
In the U-7 and under the category, we have 2 students. One of them, Gurugrahan, is ranked 32nd.
In the U-8 category, we have 2 students. One of them, Vishnu, is ranked 13th.
In the U-10 category, we have 2 students who are both ranked in the top 15. Vihaan is ranked 8th, and Vijay is ranked 14th.
In the U-11 Category – We have 4 students. In the boys, we have Priyansh ranked #6 and the other two students in the top #85 of the list. In the girls category, we have Sahithi who is ranked #13.
In the U-12 category, we have 3 students. One of them, Mihika, is ranked 31st in the top age group for girls.
In the U-13 category, we have 1 student who is ranked 24th.
In the U-14 category, we have Vaseegaran who is ranked 15th.
In the U-15 category, we have Adithya in the top 60 of the ranking list.
In the U-16 category, we have 2 students. One of them, Hemachandra, is ranked 49.
That’s a whopping total of 18 students from Chess Gaja in the top 100 age category lists!
