Rocks and Rooks Chess Club conducted the 2023 TCA Region 6 Championships on March 25, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
Chess Gaja student Tharun participated in this tournament under the elementary varsity section. Tharun scored 3.5 out of 5 points. Notably, he won one of his games against a higher-rated player Riann(858). This good performance increased his rating from 802 to 835.
