Rocks and Rooks Chess Club conducted the 2023 TCA Region 6 Championship on February 25, 2023, in Austin, Texas.
Chess Gaja student Tharun participated in this tournament under the elementary Varsity section and scored 3.5 out of 5 points. Notably, he won one of his games against higher-rated player Riaan(rated 858). This good performance increased Tharun’s rating from 803 to 835.
