VEGAS CHESS FESTIVALS hosted the INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP tournament on June 17-18, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Chess Gaja students participated and achieved remarkable results
In the IYC 14 AND UNDER section, Shriyan exhibited exceptional skill, scoring an impressive 4.5 out of 6 points. His outstanding performance secured him a well-deserved 6th place out of 67 players.
Smaran displayed great resilience in the IYC 14 AND UNDER section, scoring 2 out of 6 points. Despite facing a higher-rated opponent with a rating of 1505, Smaran’s strong performance allowed him to gain 14 rating points. His rating now stands at an impressive 1063, after starting at 1049.
In the IYC 9 AND UNDER section, Aryan demonstrated remarkable talent and determination, scoring an impressive 4.5 out of 6 points. His strong performance secured him an impressive 4th place out of 30 players.
