On June 9, 2023, the Texas Chess Center organized the Friday Swiss 060923 tournament in Carrollton, Texas. Chess Gaja student Lohit participated in the event, showcasing remarkable skills.
Lohit’s performance in the Open section was flawless, as he achieved a perfect score of 3 out of 3 points by winning all three games. This outstanding achievement secured him 1st place among 20 players. Additionally, his exceptional performance resulted in a significant gain of 37 rating points, elevating his rating from 1953 to 1990.
Moving on to June 11, 2023, the Texas Chess Center also hosted the Sunday Swiss tournament in Carrollton, Texas. Lohit once again participated and displayed remarkable skills.
In the Open section of the Sunday Swiss tournament, Lohit achieved a score of 3 out of 4 points, winning all three games he played. His strong performance led to a gain of 9 rating points, elevating his rating from 1997 to 2006.
