The 2ND ANNUAL WORLD OPEN AMATEUR tournament was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from June 26-28, 2023, organized by CONTINENTAL CHESS ASSOCIATION.
Priyansh, a student of Chess Gaja, participated in the tournament.
In the under 2200 section, Priyansh scored an impressive 4.5 out of 6 points, securing 2nd place in the tournament. His exceptional performance resulted in a gain of 8 rating points, raising his rating from 2096 to 2104.
