The poison pawns chess club conducted $3,000 STUDIO SEPT 2023 CHAMPIONSH (TX)2023 in Houston, Texas from September 15th to 17th ,2023.
Our Chess Gaja students Vijay, Anish and Mihika competed in the championship 1800+ category and Sanmitha under the challengers 1400-1799 category.
Vijay scored 3 points out of 5. He gained a noteworthy victory against players walker, Anish, Annie. This good performance increased his rating from 1921 to 1925.
Anish scored 2 points out of 5 and Mihika earned 1.5 points out of 5
In the Challengers 1400-1799 category, Sanmitha stood out with an impressive performance, scoring 4 points out of 5 and ranking 2nd in the tournament. She defeated a high rated player, Muhammed (1549), resulting in an increase in her rating from 1522 to 1597.
