The Texas chess center conducted Plano chess tournament in Plano,Texas on September 30th, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja students Arjun, Shriyan, Gurugrahan participated in the tournament under the open section.
Arjun scored 3 points out of 4 and tied for the second spot. His most notable victory was against the high-rated player Tianjun, who had a rating of 2043. This impressive win contributed to Arjun’s rating increasing from 1663 to 1691.
Shriyan scored 2 points out of 4. He won his games against Gurugrahan(1588) and Aidan (1504).
Gurugrahan scored 1 point out of 4. He won his games against Kedar (1329)
