Chess Gaja students showed excellence and showcased their talents in multiple events held in the United States this fortnight (April 25–May 1, 2024). We have segmented our student performances by state in this blog!

Texas Chess Tournament

Prathit finished 1st in The Friday Knights conducted by the Houston Scholastic Chess Association, on April 26, 2024. In the C section, Prathit scored 2.5 out of 3 points and this strong performance increased his USCF rating from 1058 to 1128.

The Texas Chess Center conducted Frisco Swiss 042824 on April 28, 2024. Sanjay scored 2.5 out of 4 points in the Champ 042824 Section. This was a good performance by Sanjay and his USCF rating increased from 1830 to 1833.

North California Chess Tournament

The Charlotte Chess Center conducted CCC Monday Action Quads 23 on April 29 , 2024. Irene scored 1 out of 3 points in the Quad C Section. This was a good performance by Irene and his USCF rating increased from 505 to 511.

Nebraska Chess Tournament

The King Registration conducted Midwest Open 2024 on April 27–28, 2024. Gurugrahan scored 3 out of 5 points in the Open Section. This was a good performance by Gurugrahan and his USCF rating increased from 1694 to 1707.

Washington Chess Tournament

The Seattle Chess Club conducted SCC April Showers on April 26 , 2024. Pratik scored 1.5 out of 4 points in the Friday Knights Section. This was a good performance by Pratik and his USCF rating increased from 1995 to 1996.

Vermont Chess Tournament

The University of Vermont Chess Club conducted 1st Burlington Tornado on April 28 , 2024. Vivek scored 2.5 out of 4 points in the Open Section. This was a good performance by Vivek and his USCF rating increased from 1406 to 1419.
