California (CA)
Vian participated in the GAMBITO tournament hosted by the San Diego Chess Club in San Diego, CA, also on July 12, 2025.
With a strong score of 3 out of 4, Vian boosted his rating from 1751 to 1801, crossing the 1800 mark—an important milestone worth celebrating!
Texas (TX)
Texas witnessed a double strike from our Plano-based champions!
- Sreevarshan played in the Frisco Swiss on July 13, 2025, scoring 2.5 out of 4. Though he had a small rating dip from 1631 to 1632, his steady play continues to demonstrate his strong foundation.
- Akshay joined the Texas Grand Championship 2025 on July 12, 2025, finishing with 2 out of 4 points. He still managed a solid rating boost of 19 points, moving from 1766 to 1785.
