Two Chess Gaja students took part in one of the most prestigious tournaments in the country—the 53rd Annual World Open, held in Philadelphia from July 2 to 6, 2025, organized by the Continental Chess Association.
- Roshan delivered a solid performance, scoring 5.5 out of 9, and saw his rating rise from 1509 to 1523.
- Priyansh played strongly in a competitive field, finishing with 4.5 out of 9 and slightly increasing his rating from 2215 to 2216.
Kudos to Roshan and Priyansh for competing at such a high-level event and representing Chess Gaja with dedication! We’re proud of your efforts and look forward to seeing even more progress in upcoming tournaments.
