Use a simple “safe to take” checklist by counting attackers and defenders.
Master the three legal ways to escape check and avoid illegal moves.
MODULE 02
Opening & Tactical Power (Classes 5–8)
Opening Survival System: The 4 Golden Rules (Center, Develop, Castle, Efficiency).
Castling & King Safety: When and how to castle; identifying the “exposed King” risk.
Tactical Patterns (Part 1): The Knight Fork and the Pin—winning material by force.
Tactical Patterns (Part 2): Discovered attacks and avoiding common opening traps.
MODULE 03
Conversion & Confidence (Classes 9–12)
Checkmate Fundamentals: Mastering the King + Queen and the “Ladder” Rook mates.
Pawn Promotion & Endgames: Transforming a pawn into a Queen and avoiding stalemates.
Stalemate Awareness: Identifying “draw traps” and securing the win.
Tournament Readiness: Using the 3-step thinking checklist and live performance review.
15-Min Demo Session
As part of this program, we include a 15-minute demo session so students and parents can understand how our beginner classes work.
