The section of FAQs

1. I am just starting to learn chess, can I learn in ChessGaja?

We have coaches who cater to students of all chess levels starting from Absolute Beginner to GrandMaster strength. If you’re unsure of your child’s level, please provide us with their chess.com or lichess ID. So, we can understand their level and provide appropriate recommendations.

2. Are online chess classes effective?

Modern chess training primarily happens online, offering convenience, flexible timing, and overcoming distance barriers. Advanced tools and digital boards enhance the experience, while our Learning Management System provides AI-powered class summaries after each class, structured training, and easy tracking. We believe online sessions are as effective or even better than in-person classes.

3. Can my 4 year old learn chess ?

Yes absolutely. Recently, 3-year-old Anish Sarkar has become the youngest FIDE-rated chess player. At this tender age, children are naturally curious and eager to explore new experiences, showing an ability to grasp basic rules and concepts. Learning chess at an early stage can significantly enhance a child’s cognitive abilities, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and focus, while also nurturing qualities like patience and sportsmanship.

4. What is a kids chess club, and how is it different from a chess academy?

A kids chess club focuses on creating a fun, community-based environment where children play, learn, and enjoy chess socially. A chess academy, on the other hand, typically provides structured, goal-oriented coaching with a focus on skill development and tournament preparation.
