Cancellation/Refund Policy

Effective from September 9, 2025

1. Private Classes

• Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 1 hour before the scheduled start time as per the Wise.Live LMS calendar.
• Cancellations made less than 1 hour prior, or no-shows, will be treated as used sessions.
• Students may cancel their class directly inside Wise.Live. Watch this short video for step-by-step instructions. Alternatively, cancellation or reschedule requests can be submitted through the Wise.Live LMS chat system to the coach. Requests made outside the LMS or directly to the coach will not be considered valid.

2. Group Classes & Camps

• No cancellations, reschedules, or refunds are permitted once enrolled, unless Chess Gaja itself cancels the program.
• Group class sessions cannot be rescheduled if missed. Missed sessions are forfeited.
• Substitute instructors may be provided to maintain continuity.

3. Package Validity

• A 15-class package is valid for 6 months. Packages with different class counts have proportional validity.
• Expired sessions cannot be refunded or carried forward.

4. Refund Policy

Refund Request Window: Requests must be made within 30 days of payment.

Refund Eligibility:

• Private Classes: 50% of unused sessions (pro-rata) may be refunded during the validity period. Refunds are calculated based on per-session value under full package pricing.
• Group Classes & Camps: Refunds apply only if Chess Gaja cancels the program.

Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 3 weeks.

5. Chess Gaja Rights

• Chess Gaja may reschedule or cancel classes due to coach unavailability, technical disruptions, or operational reasons.
• In such cases, students will be offered a makeup session to compensate for the cancellation.

6. Amendments

We reserve the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our official website.
