Anish’s Remarkable Win in Houston Chess Studio August Championship

The Poison Pawns Chess Club conducted a $3,500 Houston Chess Studio August Championship from August 5 to August 8 in Houston, Texas.

Chess Gaja students Anish and Mihika Participated in this tournament under the Challengers 1809 – 1300 section.

Anish won the tournament with a score of 4.5 out of 5. He has won three games and managed to draw one game. Notably, he won against high-rated players Reuben(1778) and Zekai(1666).

His rating point increased from 1623 to 1727.

Mihika scored 1 out of 5 points with four losses and one win. She lost his first two games against high-rated players Steven(1662) and Brandon(1676).
