Great Performances by Chess Gaja Student in California Scholastic Chess Tournament 2023

San Diego Chess Club conducted SDCC March Scholastic on March 19, 2023, in San Diego, California.

Chess Gaja students, Smaran and Sai Krishna took part in this tournament under the open section.

Smaran won this tournament with a score of 4 out of 4 points. This outstanding performance increased his rating from 963 to 1104.

Sai Krishna tied for 3rd place with a score of 2.5 out of 4 points. Notably, he won one of his games against a higher-rated player Ayaan(965). This great performance increased his rating from 851 to 908.
