San Diego Chess Club conducted Gambito – 1009 on April 8, 2023, in San Diego, California.
Several Chess Gaja students participated in this tournament.
Priyansh participated in this tournament under the elite section and scored 2 out of 4 points. This performance increased his rating from 2066 to 2069.
Sai participated in this tournament under the U1400 section and scored 3 out of 4 points. He lost his one game against a higher-rated player and winner of the tournament Francis(1289). This excellent performance increased his rating from 943 to 987.
