ARLINGTON CHESS CLUB conducted the ARLINGTON CHESS CLUB OPEN 75 Tournament on May 6, 2023, in Arlington, Texas.
Chess Gaja students, Arjun and Maurya took part in the Open section.
Arjun scored 2 out of 4 points. He gained 15 rating points, and his rating jumped from 1786 to 1801. In one round, he lost against a higher-rated player having a rating of 2049, who secured 2nd in the tournament.
Maurya scored 2 out of 4 points. In one of the rounds, He lost against a higher-rated player having a rating of 2088, who secured 1st in the tournament.
