The Sacramento Chess Club meets Tuesday evenings from 6 to 10 pm at Great Escape Games, 1250 Howe Avenue, Suite 3A. They also conduct various tournaments for all levels of players. This is one of the famous chess clubs in Sacramento.

The SVSCL was begun by Bill Bynum and Cathy Mueller in 2002 in order to provide students in Northern California the opportunity to play competitive chess.
