The PLANO SWISS 070123 tournament, organized by TEXAS CHESS CENTER, took place on July 1, 2023, in Plano, Texas.
Chess Gaja students Shriyan and Aryan participated in the tournament and achieved remarkable results.
In the Championship section, Shriyan scored an impressive 3 out of 4 points. He won all three games he played and tied for 1st place. As a result of his outstanding performance, Shriyan gained 116 rating points, elevating his rating from 1511 to 1627.
In the U1400 section, Aryan also performed exceptionally well, scoring 3 out of 4 points. He emerged victorious in all three of his games and tied for 1st place. Aryan’s remarkable performance led to a gain of 52 rating points, raising his rating from 1252 to 1304.
