The 22ND BAGBY MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT was organized by the MECHANICS INSTITUTE on June 24, 2023, in San Francisco, California.
Chess Gaja student Rakshita participated in the tournament.
In the 1200-1599 section, Rakshita scored an impressive 2.5 out of 4 points. Although she lost against a higher-rated player with a rating of 1478, her strong performance resulted in a significant gain of 33 rating points, raising her rating from 1205 to 1238.
Rakshita also participated in the EXTRA RATED GAMES section, where she played 2 games and scored 1 out of 4 points, tying for 1st place. Her strong performance in this section led to an impressive gain of 47 rating points, raising her rating from 1238 to 1285.
