The 16th Philadelphia International tournament took place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from June 24-28, 2023, organized by the Continental Chess Association.
Chess Gaja student Vaseegaran participated in the tournament and showcased their skills.
In the main section, Vaseegaran scored 4 out of 9 points and demonstrated resilience throughout the tournament. He managed to secure a draw against a higher-rated player with a rating of 2524.
