The Texas chess center conducted Sunday Swiss in Carrollton, Texas on August 20, 2023. Our Chess Gaja students Lohit and Neil participated in the tournament under the open section.
Lohit played phenomenally well to score 3 points out of 4 and ranked 3rd in the event, with this performance, Lohit increased his rating from 2066 to 2077.
Neil drew with the high-rated players Logan(2005), and Saathvik(2018) and scored 2 points out of 4. So this extraordinary performance fetched him 15 rating points increasing his rating from 1822 to 1837.
