Discovery Chess Learning CTR conducted the Ohio Congress in Akron, Ohio from September 1st to 3rd,2023.
Our Chess Gaja student Varun participated in the tournament under the open section.
Varun scored 3 points out of 5. His noteworthy performance includes a victory over a highly rated player Michelle (2328) and drew two of his games with Broderick (2193) and Nabil(2200). This skillful play led to a remarkable increase in his rating from 2034 to 2063.
