The Coppell Chess Club conducted CCC Swiss Tournament in Coppell, Texas on September 23rd, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja students Aarush and Advaith participated in the tournament. Aarush participated under the Champ section and Advait under the U400 section.
Aarush scored 4 out of 4, earning him the top spot in the event. His victories against Ishaan (1366), Kawin (1318), Charchit (1355), and Pranav (1321) were indeed noteworthy. Aarush’s outstanding performance led to a rating increase from 1366 to 1515 which is around 144 rating points.
In the U400 section, Advaith scored 2 points out of 4, showing his determination and effort.
